Land of Rivers

Kawa no Kuni (Literally "Land of Rivers") is a vast and alluring land which stretches from the borders of both the Highlands, and the Pines and consumes all of the remaining north to the furthest point west. These lands are uncontrolled by a Shinobi village, and instead are free-lands which hold numerous famous cities, and archaeological locations. The grass here is said to be the greenest and most lush of anywhere in the world, with beautiful flora blooming constantly throughout it's range; this is likely due to the rich mineral water which flows throughout the land. The most notable part of this land is the technological marvel "Miare City" which is well known for it's booming economy and shops.

Land of the Boreal Highlands

Kantai Kōchi no Tochi (Literally "Land of the Boreal Highlands"), or as it's often called, the 'highlands' is positioned at the upper portion of the world as one would expect by its name. As you venture further north, the sparsely separated growth begins to develop patches of snow which eventually lead into a magnificent wintry forest. Large hills raise in myriad amounts all around, hiding any perception of the horizon, as well as mountains which pierce the sky even further on. It is upon these mountains that one of the famed Great Villages, Kumogakure, resides.

Land of Pines and Steel

Matsuya Tetsu no Kuno (Literally "Land of Pines and Steel") is home to one of the great shinobi villages, and located furthest east on the map, claiming the entirety of the southern-most peninsula. This land is vastly populated in tall trees which create a dense woodland throughout the land, making navigation nearly impossible. It is rumored that the Senju live within the woods themselves, using them as a first defense to the village. For those who make it through the 'Dream Woods' however, the eastern part of the land is a magnificent collection of steel structures which raise themselves even further above the tops of the pines, and stand as a monument to the Kurogane's success over Senju.
